I'm ready to graduate highschool and I already have a decent camera [[advanced digital--practically SLR]]. I have a portfolio but I don't know about schooling, advertising, or just some tips you've learned throughout the years..... and about getting a business started later on...how would i do that and what degrees would be good to open my own photography shop.

I am a college student and I don't have a big budget but if I wanted to get gigs for wedddings how much would I have to invest? Do companies pay for your camera if your a professional?

Like how does a photographer make $$ working with models besides the initial portfolio? I shoot digital SLR and seek as many options as possible. Thanks in advance. Any resources or web links to support your answer is helpful too. Thx.
